Peg Visa and Immigration Services is a Toronto-based consultancy founded and led by Peggy Atanga — a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC #R712147) and licensed member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
Peggy Atanga holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the United Kingdom. She brings extensive international exposure through academic, professional, and travel experience across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. This multidisciplinary background has contributed to a strong foundation in analytical thinking, business management, organizational leadership, strategic planning, and cross-cultural competence.
Her academic training in the sciences, combined with business education and international experience, enhances her ability to understand diverse fields and effectively guide clients from varied educational, professional, and cultural backgrounds.

We start with a focused 1-hour consultation. You tell us about your background, your goals, and your timeline. We review your eligibility across relevant programs, identify the strongest pathway for your specific situation, and give you our honest professional assessment, not a generic overview you could have found online.

Clear Agreement & Defined Scope
Once we agree on the right immigration pathway, we provide a detailed retainer agreement that sets out precisely what our team will do, the fees involved, the timeline, and what we need from you. Everything is transparent and in writing before any work begins. No vague promises, no unexpected costs.

Application Preparation
Our team takes the lead on building your application, collecting and reviewing your documents, flagging any gaps early, completing all required forms, and preparing supporting materials. We typically have a complete, submission-ready application within one week of receiving your full document package. We check everything twice before it leaves our hands.

Submission & Ongoing Support
We submit your application to IRCC and manage all correspondence on your behalf. If IRCC requests additional documents or has questions, we respond promptly and professionally. You receive regular updates so you always know where things stand, and we remain available to you until your case is fully resolved.

In Canada, only licensed RCICs and immigration lawyers are legally authorized to represent clients before IRCC, prepare immigration applications on their behalf, and communicate with the Government of Canada in an official capacity. Anyone offering immigration consulting services without this credential is operating outside the law and putting your application at serious risk.

No, our Toronto-based team serves clients across Canada and abroad. Our entire workflow is designed for remote collaboration: secure video consultations, encrypted document sharing, and digital signatures. In-person meetings at our Toronto office are available when genuinely needed, but the vast majority of our clients complete their entire process without ever visiting us in person.
The first step is booking a 1-hour consultation with our team. During that session, we conduct a thorough review of your profile; work history, education credentials, language test scores, ties to Canada, and your immigration goals. We provide a clear, program-specific recommendation and walk you through realistic expectations. If you choose to move forward, we issue a retainer agreement that defines our scope of work, fees, and timeline in full. We begin work as soon as payment is received and confirmed.
We handle all client funds through a regulated trust account. Payment is due in full before work begins. Clients in Canada may pay via Interac e-Transfer, wire transfer, or cheque. Clients outside Canada may pay via international wire transfer only. We are transparent about our fees and there are no surprise charges.
Our team typically prepares and submits your completed application within one week of receiving all required documents and information. Government processing times are set by IRCC and vary considerably by program: Express Entry Invitation to Apply decisions can come within weeks of a draw, while spousal sponsorship processing currently averages 12 months, and Canadian citizenship applications can take 12 to 24 months from submission. We discuss current processing timelines in detail during your consultation and keep you informed at every stage throughout the wait.
